You're invited to a free, sustainable trail design class, sponsored by REI, at Sterling Forest State Park in Tuxedo, NY. Join JORBA and CLIMB on Sat., Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to learn what makes a great and sustainable bike trail, and to better understand multi-use trails in the region.

This class is not just to teach you trail design, but is intended to help kick off a trails plan for Sterling Forest that calls for 20-45 miles of trail open to mountain bikers. Most of the trails exist and just need good signage to create loops. There is also an opportunity to fix a poor trail route and connect it to MTB trails in Ringwood, NJ.

The only thing that's missing from this is you! Support from local mountain bikers will help get this project moving forward.
