The Race season in full swing and August has some great races so whether your in the running for a points series or have been sitting on the sidelines thinking about entering your 1st race – We’ve got you covered.
Mountain Creek NJ – Thursday Race League
Join Mountain Creek every Thursday through August 22nd for the Thursday Night Race League. These cash-in-the-hat fun races will move to a new trail each week. Come out and challenge yourself against the clock and compete for the weekly bragging rights. Details: Registration: 4:30pm-5:30pm @ the Biergarten Riders Meeting: 5:45pm @ Top of Trail Race Starts: 5:50pm-6:30pm (Start Novice to Expert) Divisions: Expert/Novice Location: Trail Varies weekly Entry Fee: $10 to enter Additional Details: Biergarten open until 10pm with live music and food & drink specials, Winners take home the cash! – 10% Rule in Effect.
Maxxis Tires Gravity East Race #7, hosted by Seven Springs Resort Seven Springs, PA
Seven Springs Mountain Resort will host the Gravity East Downhill Series Finals, August 31-September 1, 2013! As the premier gravity series in the United States, the GES event at Seven Springs will be the seventh and final stop on a circuit of the top downhill courses on the East Coast.

2013 Danzeisen and Quigley Summer Sizzler – Gloucester County College, Sewell, NJ
Race Type: XC The D and Q Summer Sizzler The course will feature 6+ miles of twisting South Jersey singletrack: logs, stream crossings, short/steep climbs, and whatever we can throw at you. The course is fun and flows well. We are going to run the course in a slightly different way than years past. Directions: From Central and North New Jersey Take New Jersey Turnpike south to Interchange 4. Exit there onto Route 73 and follow signs 1/4 mile to Route 295 South. Remain on Route 295 for 10 miles, until it merges with Route 42 in Bellmawr. Move left onto Rt. 42 lanes, then follow Route 55 Directions to GCC Campus.

Category 2 & 3 riders get medals with a prize blow out at the finals on September 8th, 2013!The course will be up and ready to ride two weeks before the race date. It starts in the grass to the right in front of the Lower Discovery Lodge, from the perspective of looking up the mountain. Follow the signs and the orange field tap. Hilltop Grasshopper, Kid’s Bike Race North Caldwell, NJ
There is no need to complete any of the information about a cycling license, this is after all a kids race…..we want to give kids a chance to try a bike race and get in on the excitement!

Consisting 90% of hand-crafted singletrack, and incorporating the very latest in passing zone technology, this is a rider’s course… all killer, no filler!
The experts and pros will have alternate trails and options in some places to make sure everyone is challenged appropriately.As expected from an NYSMTB Series race, this will be a top shelf event, featuring:
- electronic scoring
- ample paved parking
- An MC calling the event & spinning tunes
- food vendor on site
…And all of that sweet, twisty singletrack

The race will be staged right on Rt 28 west just a few minutes from exit 19 on the NYS thruway. More complete directions will be made available before the event for pre-riding.
